Button’s The Magic Clown
FACT SHEET
Tim, Born in Malvern, AR, May 5th, 1968, has been entertaining for most of his adult life.
The birth of Buttons the Clown began several years ago, when the church he was attending was looking for entertainment for their fun day. Tim was asked if he had ever thought about being a clown. So “Buttons” was born. Named after a hobby he had of making buttons, with his badge a minute button machine. Just recently Tim created another character, with big buckteeth and high water pants; Elwain de Paine wears his hat down over his ears and his pants up around his waist. But no matter how nerdy he looks, he is still the hit of the party.
Tim found the concept of balloon sculpting so fascinating, he went out and bought his very first bag of balloons. Not being satisfied with the basic balloon dog, Tim set his sights on much larger and more intricate sculptures and works of art. Tim’s repertoire includes over 450 different balloon sculptures, (the number is growing every day) focusing on the larger and more detailed sculptures, such as some of the most popular and sought after cartoon characters.
People of all ages, from nursery schools to nursing homes, and everything in between love Tim’s shows. Many large companies and organizations have sought after Tim to perform at their various special events. In addition, he once performed regularly at Ryan's Steakhouse and Shoney's restaurant, showcasing his talent tableside. Tim has worked alongside a number of celebrities, including Antonio Banderas, Bob Hoskins and Randy Travis, during the filming of “White River”. You can see Tim, as Buttons the Clown, riding his tricycle in the movie, which was released on video in October of 2001. This was his first brush with stardom.
